This negative public relations program worked well and that’s why farmers today haven’t had the opportunity to take advantage of this wonderful science -- until now with SNX30

Intensified chitosan is a biopolymer produced by the cells of living organisms that’s much lower in cost than synthetic chemicals and great for your health, your crop’s health and farm ROI. This biopolymer occurs in crustacean shells (crab, shrimp, lobster, etc.), insect exoskeletons, fish scales and in the cell walls of fungi.

 

Intensified chitosan can also be used in nutrient release applications to pull together nutrient availability with crop demands, reducing fertilizer requirement and increasing productivity. Emergence

One of the most important activities of intensified chitosan is the stimulation of seed germination. It increases the concentration of sugars and proline and also enzyme activities to increase germination rates significantly and quicker, with better overall emergence. Eliminate Unwanted Nematodes

Intensified chitosan applied to the soil is effective in killing unwanted nematodes. It acts by proliferation of chitinolytic microorganisms thereby destroying the cuticle of nematodes and their eggs.

Terpenes are the mediators of plant-to-plant communication. What, exactly, does that mean? Terpenes help plants “talk” to each other for optimal growth through environmental protection.

 

Intensified terpenes deliver “fix-it” information about environmental issues not only inside each plant but also among plant groups called communities. During a plant+insect and plant+pathogen meetup, plants influence each other through terpene biological crosstalk.  And, plants are equally sensitive to give OR take information by way of these terpene signals. 

 

Intensified terpenes can protect plants from various chemical and natural stresses and are important communication signals between plants and other organisms including insects, fungi, and bacteria. In certain environments including pathogen (bad disease) infection or microbial communities, specific emission patterns develop from these environments and healthy terpenes have the “troops” to handle the battle.

 

Intensified microbes can use intensified terpenes as their own sole carbon source, thus quenching the signals by simply “feeding” on them. Intensified microbes emit diverse intensified terpenes that have chemical structures largely similar to plant-released terpenes. Here’s a quote from a 2011 Farm Progress article, “George Rehm, University of Minnesota extension soil scientist: It's relatively easy to identify a foo-foo juice product. There are claims like: 1) it balances soil fertility, or 2) it enhances the availability of all nutrients in commercial fertilizer, 3) it improves water availability, 4) it improves soil drainage, 5) it promotes biological life in the soil etc.  Any product that is so new that universities and the Extension Service do not know about it is sure to be foo-foo juice.” Sadly, George got it completely wrong and more proof why you can’t trust universities and the Extension Service since George’s statements have been proven to be 100% false.

Use as FOLIAR:

You can use the same rate application method as with banding, starter, etc. Use your foliar application with a late afternoon, eve or early morning application with evening (especially after rain) being best. For pivot/drip fertigation applications, please contact us.

 

Avoid evening foliar if you have a potential fungi problem. Over 70 degree weather is ideal, but mid-eighties and above can cause problems. Ideal pH for optimal nutrient absorption is from 5.2 to 6.4 with a 6.8 maximum.

Foliar sprays should include small amounts of solution with a high point of deliquescence including Sea Crop, potassium nitrate or calcium nitrate in order to hold your foliar application longer on the leaf. Deliquescence = humidity point in the air where a leaf droplet will stay wet or dry.

SNX30 can be used with pesticides; herbicides, fungicides and nematicides.

2023 Results
